About
Hi, I’m Julia.
I’ve always loved moving my body in many different ways — from long-distance Running and CrossFit to Yoga, Pilates, Surfing, Dancing, and Hiking. It was through injury, and the frustration of not being able to move the way I loved, that I became curious about the body’s innate capacity to heal. I came to understand how essential supportive bodywork, corrective exercise, and attentive care are in restoring function and confidence in movement.
I believe that physical (dis)comfort is the body’s way of communication. In my Myotherapy sessions, I support you to reconnect with your body and listen to its story — gently exploring what lies beneath layers of tension, restriction, or pain. By working with the body rather than against it, my aim is to address underlying causes and help you move with greater ease, resilience, and confidence.
I believe the body heals best when it feels safe, supported, and truly listened to. I offer personalised, one-on-one care and take the time to understand your unique experience. My approach is collaborative and attuned, with an emphasis on nervous system regulation, awareness, and creating the conditions for lasting change.
I draw from a range of techniques including massage, dry needling, cupping, taping, and more. These tools are used thoughtfully and only when appropriate, always guided by clear communication and consent. Each session is tailored to what your body is ready for on the day, with your comfort and sense of safety at the centre.
I have a special interest in women’s health across the lifespan and am particularly fascinated by how female hormones influence our muscles, joints, nervous system, and overall wellbeing.
